Termite Treatment
Chemical barriers, baiting and colony control — explained
About this service
Termite treatment is matched to your property's construction, the location of activity and your budget. We use chemical soil barriers applied to Australian Standard label rates, termite baiting systems, and direct treatment of activity — always following an inspection so the colony, not just the symptoms, is addressed. This brochure explains each method, how to prepare, and how your warranty works.
Pricing
Termite Treatment is $550, confirmed in your free written quote. Follow-up re-attendance visits, if required, are $275. Bundled with a general pest treatment, this service is a $450 add-on.

Depending on your location, a travel surcharge may apply, and depending on the extent of the infestation, an infestation surcharge may apply. Any applicable surcharge is always confirmed in your written quote before work proceeds. Full conditions are on our pricing and warranty page.
Before your treatment
Follow these preparation steps so the treatment works as designed.
- Do NOT spray, poke or disturb any activity you've found — disturbed termites abandon the area and reappear elsewhere
- Ensure clear access to the roof void, subfloor and the external perimeter of the building
- Move stored items, planters and garden beds away from external walls where a soil barrier is planned
- Tell us about bore water, irrigation, reticulation lines or garden beds along the walls
- Advise us of pets and children so sequencing and product selection can be planned
- Ensure outdoor taps and the hot water system are accessible
Our treatment process
Confirm & plan
Inspection findings are mapped to a treatment method — barrier, baiting, or direct treatment — and confirmed with a fixed written quote.
Treat activity
Active galleries, leads and nests are directly treated so the colony is hit where it's working.
Barrier or baiting
A chemical soil barrier is trenched and rod-injected to label rates around the structure, or tamper-resistant baiting stations are installed and monitored.
Report & warranty
You receive an as-built treatment diagram, the products used, your warranty terms in writing and a follow-up inspection schedule.
What's included
- Direct treatment of identified termite activity
- Chemical soil barrier applied to Australian Standard label rates, OR a baiting program with monitoring
- As-built treatment diagram showing exactly where the barrier or stations are placed
- Written warranty terms and the follow-up inspection schedule
- Products used recorded on your service documentation
Not included (quoted separately)
- Repair of termite damage to timbers or structure
- Reticulation refill systems (quoted separately)
- Physical barrier installation in new construction (by arrangement at build stage)
- Ongoing monitoring beyond the included program period (maintenance plans quoted)
- Access issues beyond our control (paved or concreted perimeters may require agreed modifications)
After your treatment
What to do, and what to expect, once we've finished.
- Keep soil over the treated zone undisturbed — avoid digging or gardening along the barrier for at least 3 months
- Never move, open or disturb bait stations — they're locked for a reason
- Fix any drainage, leaking taps or ventilation problems identified in the inspection — termites follow moisture
- Keep annual inspections up to date — your warranty terms require them
- Report any new activity, mud leads or swarms immediately so we can attend under warranty
Children, pets & safety
Termite treatments are planned so children and pets are never exposed during application. Barriers are applied below ground to label rates, and baits are locked inside tamper-resistant stations.
- Keep children and pets inside or away from the work zone during application
- Stay off treated soil areas until they're dry — typically a few hours
- Bait stations are locked; never open them or let dogs chew them — call us if a station is disturbed
- Barrier products are applied below the soil surface at controlled label rates, not broadcast
- Safety Data Sheets for every product used are available on request
- If a child or pet contacts treated soil before it's dry, wash with soap and water and call us — or the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26
