How Baiting Works
Termites feed on the bait and carry it back to the nest, where it is shared throughout the colony including the queen. Over several weeks the colony is eliminated. Bait is only added when termites are present in a station, so there is no unnecessary chemical in the environment.
Above-Ground Baiting
When termites are active inside a building, above-ground bait stations are placed directly over the active workings so termites feed immediately. This is used to eliminate an active colony quickly.
In-Ground Baiting
In-ground stations are installed around the perimeter to intercept foraging termites before they reach the building. Stations are checked at scheduled intervals and baited when termites are detected.
